The Plot: Equipped with a unique set of skills, an orphan who has been raised by a band of thieves sets out to exact his revenge on the warlord who murdered his family.

THE BUZZ: Tony Jaa had a wild ride here. You might be familiar with the story. Crumbling under the pressure as director/star, Jaa disappeared during production, returning two months later to finish the shoot under the guide of Panna Rittikrai, who directed Jaa in The Bodyguard and Born to Fight. (In a very un-Hollywood move, Jaa said he went to meditate on the project, which is the advice we'd given to every single trouble-making young star in Los Angeles. And now we want Jaa to make an action movie with David Lynch.) But from what we hear, Rittikrai didn't have much to direct, since the flick has been described as 80% action, 10% exposition, and 10% that very same exposition all over again. We're still trying to figure out if the recut version overseen by Luc Besson is the one being released in theaters, and if the theatrical version will differ from the VOD/XBOX Live/etc. cut that will premiere before said theatrical release ...
