Too epic in scope, which should contain only one film, the historical saga that began in Red Cliff John Woo's heats as the Prime Minister asked the General Cao Cao (Zhang Fengyi) leads an army of the emperor in the south to do battle with a small but determined coalition headed a fierce opponent of Zhou Yu (Tony Leung Chiu Wai).

"Epic" is probably a word that most Filipinos, and Asians are not familiar with, when it comes to movies. When was the last time Asian film has been designated as the Epic (one name, if you can, please)? It surprised us to learn about the "Red Rock" - the film, which was originally released late last and early this year and in other parts of the East. Total time was staggering four hours, we had to divide it into two films. Again, they had to divide it into two parts - now it's EPIC. It is a pity, but that even if we were historically very willing audience of Chinese films, our country gets simplified to the western version with more than one-third to reduce the time the original. Is "Red Cliff" is still standing, although it is a very different version than originally planned? Read on to find out our opinion about it.
